Part 5 - Islam. of my religion series. As a school project for digital imaging, we are making a book of photos that contain a topic of our choice. I picked religion. Some told me that it was risky, but I told them I could handle criticism. I have a lot of religions to study and a little amount of time. Each photo takes about 1 1/2 class periods to create. Some take more. I learn about each religion and ask some people to be models. Some people actually are of that faith, some are not, but are willing to pose for the sake of my project! If you are offended in any way, I am sorry. Thank you for understanding!
I have revised the image and removed the star. A few people said I should change it, so I did.
good luck on your project. Actually the crescent is enough, because the crescent with the star associates with some countries flags (Turkey, Pakistan, Algeria).
I fixed it. How does it look now? A couple of my friends also suggested removing the star, as well as the model in the picture.

The model of the picture suggested that I remove the star, I mean.

This is cool. My best friend is Muslim. Kudos on picking such a sensitive subject for your project. It is an incredibly interesting choice since religion is so diverse and culture is all wrapped in with it. Also, I like how the moon's curve is balanced by the curve of the model's body. Nice composition.
